About the Event

During Mens Health Awareness week in June, Nick Wilson faced his physical and mental disabilities to attempt a 385mile cycle ride from Margate to Lands End, as part of our 385challenge. During the challenge, we experienced the hottest days of the year and devastatingly, there was also an accident involving our support rider and whilst he was fine, his bike wasn't so we had to retire after covering only 225 of the 385miles, BUT, planned to complete the final 160miles during World Suicide Prevention week this September.

Horrifyingly, Nick has been battling his demons over the past few weeks and is experiencing the darkest period he has faced for years, HOWEVER, he is determined to face his demons and the darkness they bring by fully committing to tackle the final 160miles between 22nd to 25th September and we are asking for your help providing him support.

Nick is determined to pay his respects to the 385 guys who die by suicide every month in the UK, alongside their friends, families and loved ones, whilst also demonstrating we ALL have it within us to make the necessary changes in our lives, to better manage our mental wellbeing.

On Saturday 25th September, we are inviting other cyclists to meet us at Cromwell Cottage, Kislingbury for 1030hrs and join in with the remaining 5 miles to our final destination, Delappre Abby in Northampton. If this isn't for you, would you come down to the Abbey for 1130hrs instead and help us to make a HUGE noise when Nick crosses the finishing line, as he completes one of the BIGGEST and most EMOTIONAL challenges he has ever attempted.
